When to apply for 30 hours of free childcare
You can apply from when your child is 23 weeks old. When you can get your hours from will depend on the date your child turns 9 months old.

When to apply if you’re returning to work after maternity, paternity, shared parental or adoption leave
The date you return to work will affect when you can apply for free childcare.
If you’re on paid annual leave and receiving your salary, this counts as having returned to work.
You can apply from when your child is 23 weeks old. When you can get your hours from will depend on the date your child turns 9 months old.

Fees
If your child attends beyond their funded hours, you will be charged at our standard hourly rates:
- Acorn Room (6m – 2yrs): £12.50 per hour
- Oak Room (2 – 4yrs): £10 per hour
If you would like your child to stay until 5:30pm, the fee for that session will be:
- Acorn Room: £8
- Oak Room: £7
Fees for non-funded children
Acorn Room (6m – 2yrs):

- Full day (8am – 5pm): £87
- Morning (8am – 12:30pm): £50
- Afternoon (12:30pm – 5pm): £48
Oak Room (2 – 4 yrs):

- Full day (8am – 5pm): £84
- Morning (8am – 12:30pm): £47
- Afternoon (12:30pm – 5pm): £44
Food costs
We would love you to choose meals provided by us and are keeping prices as low as possible. If you chose to purchase meals, prices are:
- Breakfast: 60p
- Lunch: £2.85
- Tea: £1.65
- Snack: Free
