We know from research that children from less advantaged backgrounds start school 11 months behind their peers on average – this impacts their outcomes in education, later life, and in the workplace.

Research has also shown that if businesses in the UK were to invest in early childhood, 3.58 million children under 5 could be positively impacted, and £11.8 billion could be generated in additional profits for businesses.
