Post-course delivery support

Practitioners cover a lot during our Peep training courses, but it’s invaluable to have opportunities to share questions and practical tips with the Peeple team and other Peep practitioners once you start delivering Peep in practice.

Here are six types of Peep delivery support included in the training price. You can find more information about them in our log-in Members Area, or contact us. We look forward to seeing or hearing from you soon!

Website: log-in areas for practitioners

As well as providing online access to the whole programme (session plans, parent handouts, etc), our log-in areas contain extensive delivery support guidance.  Our case studies share ideas for different ways that Peep programme can be used.

We have created an online resource pack with our Brand Guide, downloads and editable templates that non-Peep-trained support staff can also access. These help you promote your Peep sessions and share information with your local families.

‘Peep in Practice’: practitioner peer support sessions

These free one-hour online sessions are open to all Peep-trained practitioners. They explore an aspect of Peep delivery, enabling practitioners to share tips, challenges and questions with each other.

Newsletters for practitioners and managers

Our monthly ‘Peep Delivery Support’ email is for Peep-trained practitioners and their managers, focusing mainly on ideas and updates to support your Peep delivery. Our ‘Peeple Newsletter’ focuses more generally on working with families to support the home learning environment, and anyone can sign up.

We automatically add Peep-trained practitioners to both lists and invite managers to sign up. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Peep Champions: network meetings

Organisations and local authorities often have their own ‘Peep champions’: someone with a real commitment to supporting colleagues with their Peep delivery, who works with managers to maintain an overview of Peep and take things forward locally.

Having a Peep champion or two can help you make the most of Peep programmes in supporting local families. We host regular online meetings where Peep champions can share ideas, experiences and questions. Champions also often hold their own network or ‘community of practice’ meetings for local Peep practitioners.

Social media

We post regular tips, ideas, links and updates, for parents as well as practitioners, via Instagram and Facebook (both @PeepleCentre). You’re welcome to repost any of these on your local social media pages.

We love to hear about what families and practitioners are doing, and you’re welcome to tag us. We also have a LinkedIn account (@Peeple), focusing more on issues in our sector.

Information sessions and meetings for managers and decison-makers

We hold regular hour-long online information sessions about each of our Peep programmes.

If you’d like to discuss how you and your colleagues can make the most of Peep programmes within your organisation or local authority, we’re also happy to help. This might include finding out more about the different ways your staff could use the programme, supporting practitioners who haven’t used Peep for a while, or using Peep more widely across your local authority, potentially with a Peep Train the Trainer Agreement.

You’re welcome to phone or email us with questions, or to arrange an individual meeting with one of our Development Managers.

Our video ‘How Peep Programmes can support your work with families’ provides a short overview of the Peep programmes and training, including feedback from parents, practitioners, managers and commissioners.
