Peep Programmes
Peep programme help parents, carers and
practitioners work together to improve
young children’s learning and development
Peep programmes focus on:
- sharing activities and information about child development that parents can easily use in everyday life
- strengthening relationships – between parent and child, families and practitioners
- valuing and building on what families already do.
Each programme contains child development information and low or no-cost activities, session plans, parent handouts and other resources. They are delivered by Peep-trained practitioners in group or 1-to-1 sessions with parents, carers and their babies or children, or with expectant parents.
Peep programmes can be used flexibly to meet local needs and support the home learning environment.
Our Practitioner Training courses covers the ‘why’, ‘what’ and ‘how’ for delivering each programme with families.
Peep Antenatal Programme
Peep Antenatal provides a practical way for practitioners to help build secure parent-child bonding and attachment, and parents’ understanding of early brain development.
Peep Learning Together Programme
Peep Learning Together help parents enhance their children’s learning and development through play, talk, songs, stories and day-to-day life, from birth to school. You can use any of the 74 topics covering:

- early literacy
- early maths
- health and physical development
Peep TALK Programme
Peep TALK (Talking and listening kit) is for practitioners to use with parents of toddlers and young children, particularly those who are concerned about their child’s speech, language and communication development. It provides a toolkit of effective strategies and activities that parents can use in everyday interactions with their child.
Peep Families Connect Programme
Peep Families Connect supports parents with their children’s learning and development at school and home, into and during the early primary years.
Peep Exploring Together Programme
Peep Exploring Together aims to improve practitioners’ and parents’ confidence, knowledge and skills in supporting children’s early learning about STEM: science, technology, engineering and maths. It is currently in its phase 2 pilot of training and programme delivery.
